so this is storm #3 of the 2007 Atlantic Hurricane season. Now I know I have been over this with you a few times, but is your ass ready for this shit? Here is a list of some of the shit I got together since I last harped on your asses about slacking on the hurricane ready supply tip. First we got a surplus of distilled bottled water. The rule of thumb is a gallon a day for every person in the house for 3 days. I like to stretch that out to 5 to 7 days. Keep this water in the rotation for freshness, but always keep a spare 6 gallons around. Right now our house has 4 spare gallons of distilled water and 2 cases of bottled 20 oz purified water. I hate to push something from Walmart, but the 24 pack of 20 oz bottles is cheap and easy to store. We got canned food in the pantry. Soups, crackers, peanut butter, granola bars, Mac and cheese, and of course Ramen noodles. We got a single burner camp stove and 2 propane bottles. Weather Band radio and 20 AA batteries. Blankets and pillows in vacum sealed bags. And last but not least, cat food. Got it, now go get it. You are running out of time. Updates on this storm as they come.
