F.W. de Klerk

Ha Ha, Joey Albero wants to report the news and how did he miss this? I didn't get to hear the whole speech because I had a pretty rough test. But the article has some good highlights. I am sure the SU website will have a write up on it eventually, then again probably not. But you never know. Anyway there was a huge turn out and I have to say most of the people there were over the age of 60. The music was great, I heard the drums as I walked on campus. It was a nice change coming up out of the tunnel and hearing that. Usually its just an idleing bus sitting there. Either way if you missed it, you missed seeing and hearing a true leader from the 20th century. We don't get many people like de Klerk, known world over, Nobel Peace prize winner, statesman, here in the bury. SU has done a fabulous job of bringing great minds here in the last 10 years. So keep your eyes open for the next act.
