FDR passes.

On this day in 1945, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt passes away after four momentous terms in office, leaving Vice President Harry S. Truman in charge of a country still fighting the Second World War and in possession of a weapon of unprecedented and terrifying power.

Yep, there will never be another president that sit in a wheelchair. People in this day and age couldn't handle that image. Old FDR was luck tv was still in its infancy back then.

HW--

Technically, it was three terms and 3 months... Roosevelt had not even served 90 days of his fourth term when he died in Warm Springs.
