Here is a good article in the Times, London that is, that highlights the direction that the art world is moving in. Like any other genre struggling for acceptance, street art seems to have arrived. Good. I have some friends that can throw down some of the sweetest graffiti that ever was. It would be nice to see their names up there with the traditional greats.

reason being a lot of people can afford art from all the gallery shows that have popped up for low costs, instead of high priced abscrap that documented the eighties. Street art or lowbrow art has leveled the playing field and made a much more DIY art scene world wide.
