Okay, I am new to the Father's Day thing. People make it out to be some big deal about father's day, but I don't see it that way. I am just doing what I do. But that dosen't stop others from throwin a party or something crazy like that.
We had no real plans for the weekend, but then luck would be we got some free Orioles tickets and decided a day at Camden Yards is a good thing. Plus the seats were club level and we knew they would be in the shade by the 3rd inning. We packed up the family truckster and headed out. The trip wasn't to bad. Well the trip up wasn't bad. We get up and rock out the game. The Os blow it in the 8th as usual. That was a bummer, but the young un Burres can throw. Homeboy was dealin and threw 9 k's before his day was done. They got some horses in the starting rotation. It is only a matter of time before they go away via free agency. But I digress, the game closed with a 6-4 loss, and we packed up the car to roll out. Baby girl wasn't happy. She didn't want to be in that car for 2 and half hours, but we got a little dvd player for her and The Little Mermaid kept her company.
It was a great day at the park. There were many dad's out and we all had some weird baseball buzz going with the kids around. I just wish we had some time for other activities. That will come later in the summer. Yeah, a good weekend like this sure as hell makes coming to work on monday a bitch.

Father's day is not a big deal.Certainly no reason to throw a party. In my opinion, there is no greater joy in a man's life as fatherhood.Being a father is like an IRA investment. You make the initial deposit, but you have to keep an eye on it,make changes when needed and most of all,you need to nurture it.And when your investment matures, if you have made those commitments, you will reap the rewards of fatherhood.
