Observations on the cell phone.

A forward observation on the cell phone.
First, the cell phone is dead. No one who uses a cell phone rarely uses it as a phone. They text, pic, email, game, or maybe just maybe place a call on it. Hell I don't even have a cell phone.
I got a pocket pc. The damn thing is a computer first. For email, can't beat it. Text? Please. Pretty damn inconvenient to make a call on that device. But thats the way that these devices are going. They are not really phones anymore. They are about to evolve into hand held multi media devices. Like the tricorder from Star Trek. So check out this concept phone. Its coming, so get ready for it.

I still use my cell phone. But as rarely as possible.

I only use one of those " pay as you go " cell phones very rarely. I buy $25 worth of minutes every 3 months, so it costs me about $8 a month. I really only use the phone for emergencies, or when I make a trip somewhere, and that's enough. All these people paying a big fee each month must really be leading very very busy lives.
